Edible Flowers

A nice accent to any cake or cupcake. Rather than spend time making decorative frosting. Why not go all natural and add edible flowers like rose petals, marigolds, lavender and dandelions. Just make sure though that you get the freshest ingredients.

Veganism

Going vegan has slowly gain acceptance and there are a  lot of promoters of this kind of lifestyle and bakers and chefs are beginning to tap into the demand of this market.

This Mexican invention aptly named because of the conch/shell shape of the sweet toppings are now gaining popularity not only in the United States but also locally. Creative bakers have experimented with different colors and toppings like icing and fondant to entice not only the eyes but also tickle our taste buds.

From gardening to baking. These cake toppings inspired by the plants that is named after are all the rage in the baking world. It used to be butter cream and fondant flowers are the highlights of a decorative cake. Now people are appreciating the beauty of these picturesque plants.
